Description

History:

"The history of the sword in China dates back 5,000 years to the legendary Yellow Emperor. The Jian, used in Tai Chi, is its most sophisticated form. The use of a Jian in combat or duels was associated with professional martial artists, priests and the nobility, due to the skill needed to wield it."

Craftsmen Records:

Hilt, including pommel, engraved with Chinese details. Grip imitating wooden engravings. The blade has three different parts. The end nearest the point is fine and sharpened like a razor, making it flexible and fragile. It requires precision and speed.

The middle is used to make contact, deflect and drive forward. It is sharp and can be used to make a striking cut.

The part nearest the hilt is blunt and is used for situations that require force, such as blocking an attack.

Red leather scabbard with silver openwork fittings.

Size: 94 cm

Weight: 1,3 Kg
